In Todmorden, West Yorkshire, we’ve installed a high-performance water treatment system designed to eliminate sediment and harmful bacteria, including clostridium. This system is ideal for private water supplies such as springs, boreholes, or wells.
The filtration process begins with a 5-micron filter to remove larger particles, followed by a 1-micron filter for finer sediment. The water then passes through a 0.45-micron filter specifically designed to target and remove clostridium, a particularly harmful bacterium.
To ensure complete disinfection, the water is then treated using a powerful UV system, which neutralizes any remaining bacteria or pathogens.
As a final step, we carry out comprehensive water testing to ensure the system meets all relevant safety and quality standards—giving you peace of mind and a safe, clean supply of drinking water.

Water Testing
The starting point for any water treatment design is a representative water analysis that is complete and accurate. Using a UKAS Accredited Laboratory. Two of our engineers have undergone formal training and are now certified to carry out water sampling to UKAS accredited standards.
