Our recent site visit involved servicing a system that was installed by another company but wasn’t functioning efficiently. The system consisted of a water softener, two UV units, and a 5um pre-filter. By making a few adjustments and upgrading the valve on the water softener, we were able to give our customer a system that not only improved water efficiency but also provided valuable insights. With our system, the customer can now monitor their water usage, track the last regeneration, know when the next regeneration is due, and receive visual alerts when attention is required. This is especially important as the borehole supplies both the family home and a holiday let.
During our visit, the customer expressed concerns about high nitrate levels and fluctuating pH. To address these issues, we installed a nitrate removal system and a pH correction unit, ensuring that both contaminants are effectively kept at bay.
Water testing:
The starting point for any water treatment design, and at Prosep, we prioritize accuracy and reliability. Our engineers have undergone formal training and are certified to carry out water sampling to UKAS accredited standards, using a UKAS Accredited Laboratory.
